How is TIME FOR CT related to the Northeast Corridor (NEC)?
Connecticut’s rail network includes the Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor (NEC). TIME FOR CT is being advanced independently but in close coordination with a more extensive infrastructure investment plan for the entire NEC from Washington, DC to Boston, MA, CONNECT NEC. The planned improvements to the NEC support the TIME FOR CT speed, reliability, frequency, connectivity, and convenience objectives.
